Attend the Congressional Baseball game. Every summer, Democratic and Republican members of Congress challenge each other in a charity baseball game supported by corporate sponsors. For the past ten years, the WLC has been one of the fortunate beneficiaries of the proceeds of this annual summer event.

An Evening for Literacy – June 11

This event will be held at Morton’s Steakhouse, featuring honorary hosts former Congressman Michael Oxley and former Senator Byron Dorgan. The reception starts at 6 p.m. Hor d’ oeuvres and wine will be served. Donations start at $50.

Happy Hour on Capitol Hill – June 18

Join fellow supporters and donors for happy at Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar on Capitol Hill. Drinks will be discounted. Donations start at $10 and will be collected at the door. We hope to see you there!
